C A S T Prayer

Barbara co-founder of YESLORDWorld.com invited Jesus into her heart at the age of sixteen during a Billy Graham camp meeting in Ocean Grove, NJ. She was working as a waitress in Asbury Park to earn money for college. Asbury Park is right next to Ocean Grove. Barbara’s mother died that year and her father remarried and virtually abandoned Barbara. So when Billy Graham said if you invite Jesus into your heart God will be your Father. She said “I need a father.” Since that day God has been her Father and she has lead thousands to the Lord with her testimony.

About fifteen years ago Barbara was asked by our church youth pastor to share with a group going on a mission trip how she is able to lead people to Christ. She prayed to the Lord to give her a simple way to share with the group. Just before her time to speak the Lord gave her this simple method to share with them. CAST = Cleansed – Available – Send – Tell

She then shared the following with the kids. She said “Pray this!”

Cleansed – Ask the Lord each day to make you an empty cleansed vessel.

Available – Tell the Lord each day you’re available to witness for Him.

Send – Ask the Lord each day to send someone to witness to.

Tell – Ask the Lord each day to tell you what to say to the one He sends.
